Place of Mind is a collaborative project of poet Richard Blanco and painter John William Bailly. In 2006 & 2007, the duo explored common themes and imagery in a series of text and images that was curated by Denise Delgado in an exhibition at the Miami-Dade Public Library System.

Place of Mind was then exhibited at ClampArt in New York in 2012 and the University of Maine Museum of Art in 2012. The UMaine exhibition was curated by George Kinghorn.
