03 November 2020 is a call for unity on the US election day of 2020. At a time of historic division in the the United States, 03 November was the opportunity for the country to unite. This painting represents that hope. The accompanying painting 06 January 2021 represents the violent rejection of that hope. The pairing of both paintings makes reference to the 02 May 1808 and 03 May 1808 of Francisco Goya.
