DECREE OF DEATH FROM THE ROSES OF FIBONACCI
This 2019 oil painting explores cultural identity, as it related to the Transatlantic Exchange between Europe and the Americas. It is a painting of rebirth and of violence. The Assassination Project comprises over 60 works on canvas and paper. The project aim to canonize human rights martyrs in a pictorial manner similar to spiritual martyrs. Exhibited at the LnS Gallery in Miami, the Assassination Project depicts Giordano Bruno, Stephane Charbonnier, Anne Frank, Mohandas Gandhi, Olympe de Gouges, Tȟatȟáŋka Íyotake (Sitting Bull), Robert F Kennedy, and Malcolm X.
